Full season protection with a Mid-Century design aesthetic. The Modern Canvas™ Small Studio has an interior footprint of 80 sq ft (7.4 sq m); big enough for creating a private backyard office, cozy spare bedroom getaway, or that perfect private meditation space.

The clean lines of a shed roof will keep you dry and shaded while the canvas walls can be rolled-up out of the way to expose solid mesh, creating a full screenroom in nice weather. If it turns stormy, walls can be zipped tight to ensure protection from wind and rain. Raise either side wall to create an awning for extra shade, or stow the walls to let extra light inside. The mesh ceiling protects from creepy crawlers, but allows the studio to breathe. A five inch offset helps pull moist air up and out, below the eaves of the roof. The shelter canvas is a marine-grade cotton made to withstand sun, rain, wind, mildew, and abrasion. It is heavy duty but light enough for a single person to easily carry the entire shelter in the included duffle-style bag.

This canvas set includes; four walls, mesh ceiling and tub floor and is designed to pair with a wooden frame (design plans available for free) you build/assemble yourself. The simple and intuitive frame can be built and canvas attached in half a day with two adults. Although the Canvas Studios are sturdy enough to stay up year-round, they are impermanent enough to take down and move to a new location when the mood strikes.

The canvas tent portion of the shelter includes: mesh/canvas walls, fabric floor, mesh ceiling, duffel-style carrying bag, and all of the hardware needed for installation with the Small Studio Wood Frame. Note: this item does not include the roof, wooden frame, doors, flooring, or platform.
